MA, EdM, APCC
My approach is non-judgmental, empathetic, and collaborative. I aim to create an affirming environment where clients can openly discuss their stressors, preferences, and everything in between. My work is informed by my identity as a queer, first-generation, Latinx woman. I utilize intersectionality and trauma-informed frameworks to meet clients where they are, with special consideration of their multiple identities, lived experiences, sociocultural contexts, and goals for therapy. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing life transitions, depression, anxiety, acculturation challenges, identity exploration, and relationship issues. My goal is to support clients in strengthening their self-images, coping mechanisms, and relationships. I view our work together as a collective healing process. I believe that through collaborative mental health work, we can heal our communities.
