Nick Stavrides
CADC I, Substance Use Counselor
My experience specializes in treating alcohol and substance use disorders in adults.
I help those struggling with alcohol and substance abuse addiction by providing critical insight and tools rooted in science, psychology and spirituality. I work with adult men and women of all ages who are looking to establish or maintain sobriety.
My own battle with addiction has led me to a greater understanding of the link between emotional and physical sobriety. Addressing addiction can be the start of a gateway to a better life through explorations of its root causes.
My method is to use a tailored approach based on individual needs and to treat each person with compassion and understanding. I am a Taoist meditation practitioner with heart-math certification and believe there exists a strong link between the body, mind, and spirit. Harnessing the power within each can pave the way for healing.
My hope for clients is not just freedom from drugs and alcohol but also transformation and recovery of self through the process. I believe that overcoming addiction using a holistic approach can lead to a greater sense of purpose, self-growth, inner peace, and gratification.
