Cindy Manko

MS, AMFT, APCC

I have experience working with culturally diverse children, teens, parents, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, autism/ASD, ADHD, grief and loss, OCD, and stressful life transitions.

I believe that emotional well-being is an important part of a healthy and balanced life. And therapy can be a unique and supportive process that can bring about clarity, change, and growth. I believe that each individual has their own story to tell and I am passionate about guiding them along their desired journey. I aim to be supportive during the therapeutic process using unconditional positive regard and empathy within an evidence-based structure. I enjoy working with children with the use of art and play therapy and supporting them with 504 and IEP meetings, when needed.

I obtained my M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Notre Dame de Namur University. I use my training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Systems, and Attachment theories to help support my clients. Through my past volunteer work at Kara, Centre for Living with Dying, Contact Cares Hotline, and Rape Trauma Services, I am committed to helping adults and children. I also bring an in-depth experience with my research background at Stanford in Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS). I am passionate about helping families who are struggling with this rare condition and about other medical conditions that impact mental health.

I offer a warm and gentle space to be seen and heard, with a strong belief that no one needs to struggle in silence. I prioritize rapport, pacing, and psychological safety, creating a steady and supportive space for long-term growth. I offer both in-person and Telehealth services and look forward to connecting with you.
