Helen Vallaeys

MA, AMFT, APCC

I work with teens, adults, and families, specializing in neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, trauma, and parenting using compassionate, evidence-based approaches.

As your therapist, my goal is to provide you with a safe space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with your true self. To offer you the opportunity to shed old patterns, heal emotional wounds, and cultivate a compassionate relationship with yourself. Whether you’re struggling with overwhelming emotions, navigating a difficult life transition, or simply seeking greater clarity, I aim to provide you with a space that allows you to self-reflect, heal, grow, and thrive. I believe in meeting you where you are—no matter how big or small your struggles may feel—and helping you build the tools, resilience, and confidence to create a life filled with purpose and vitality.

My approach integrates Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as person-centered, strengths-based, compassion-centered, mindfulness, and DBT techniques to create a tailored and empathetic space for healing, self-acceptance, and growth. Regardless of the approach we use, my primary focus is always on offering you kindness, patience, and a genuine respect for your individual journey. I believe that you already have the wisdom and strength within you to thrive—sometimes, it just takes a little guidance to help you reconnect with it.

I enjoy working with diverse populations, with a focus on teens, young adults and adults. I specialize in supporting neurodiverse individuals and those navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also provide parenting support and therapy for families.
