Iratzeni (Zeni) Silva
MA, LMFT
My focus is working with kids, teens, and young adults dealing with depression, anxiety, interpersonal issues, or difficulty with emotional regulation. I am bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish.
I am a therapist who wholeheartedly believes that anyone can benefit from therapy. At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens in relationship. The connection we build in therapy isn’t just part of the process, it is part of the tool. When you feel safe, understood, and not judged, it becomes easier to explore the parts of you that feel anxious, overwhelmed, shut down, or stuck.
I also believe in offering practical tools you can use outside of our sessions. We can’t always think our way out of feelings. Sometimes we have to slow down and feel our way through. I use a somatic and parts-based approach to help you understand the language of your body, make sense of your nervous system’s patterns, and respond to yourself with more care and intention.
With kids and teens, I focus on creating emotional safety and helping them better understand and express their big emotions. When helpful, I collaborate with caregivers to support growth beyond the therapy room.
Therapy doesn’t have to be reserved for crisis. It can be a space to grow, to untangle old stories, and to build a steadier relationship with yourself. I see therapy as a shared process. I don’t sit across from you as the expert on your life, but alongside you as we make sense of it together. Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your child/teen, I am here to support you.
