Jennifer Lin

MA, LCSW

I hope to empower individuals, families, communities along their healing journey, discovering their own identities, power, values and purpose to build meaningful relationships and lives.

My experience and background comes from working with youth/adolescents involved in the juvenile justice system, and I am passionate on supporting those of all ages struggling with impacts of trauma, depression, anxiety, family conflicts, relationship issues and community / systemic injustices. I believe the experiences we have been through in our lives have shaped us to be who we are today, but we are not our traumas. We are so much more.

My approach to therapy is to collaborate with you on this experience together, allowing for you to own your voice and story and find the joy and healing in your life. I utilize an integrative approach pulling from various modalities to meet your individualized needs. This includes modalities such as psychodynamic, person centered, humanistic, strengths based, solution focused, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical approaches, and radical acceptance/ love. I have also been trained in Trauma Focused CBT, Seeking Safety, and family systems approaches.
