Jordan Mamon
MA, AMFT
I am passionate about working with children, teens, adults, couples, parents, and families. I have experience with a diverse range of issues, including anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, strengthening communication skills, and neurodivergence.
Healing is a collaborative journey where we continuously build, grow, and move toward living our most fulfilling lives. Therapy can be a helpful tool to highlight clarity and change within a safe environment. Whether you are struggling with overwhelming emotions, navigating life transitions, or seeking clarity, I believe in meeting you where you are in your healing journey. I aim to be supportive during the therapeutic process using unconditional positive regard and empathy within an evidence-based structure.
I have my M.A. in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Health Psychology from Santa Clara University. I draw interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-centered approaches to support my clients. These integrated approaches focus on helping individuals take the lead in their healing as they build greater self-awareness, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward lives that feel more meaningful and aligned with their values. My clinical experiences have ranged from school-based therapy, ABA therapy as a behavioral technician and Early Intervention Specialist. I have supported individuals and families navigating depression, anxiety, and emotional regulation.
I strive to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their experiences and make meaningful changes. I prioritize emphasizing rapport, pacing, and creating a safe space where clients feel supported throughout the healing process. I look forward to working with you to find the path that helps you live your most meaningful and fulfilling life.
