Lauryn Cartagine
MA, APCC
I work with teens, young adults, and adults, and have experience supporting clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and body image concerns.
I bring a relational, thoughtful, and trauma informed approach to therapy, with a strong focus on slowing things down, building psychological safety, and honoring client autonomy. I have experience working with children, teens, young adults, adults, and women, My clinical background includes supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, body image and self esteem concerns, and the impacts of attachment and relational patterns. I enjoy noticing and gently naming what is happening in the therapy room and exploring how those dynamics show up outside of session, helping clients build insight and strengthen mind body connection. My work draws from relational and attachment based approaches, mindfulness, TF-CBT, CBT and DBT informed structure when helpful, and inner child and process oriented work. I value collaboration, ongoing consent, and meeting clients where they are, taking care not to rush the work and allowing therapy to move at a pace that feels supportive and sustainable.
