I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a culturally-competent manner.
I have experience implementing theoretical approaches such as CBT and attachment focused models, while focusing on the reduction of specific symptoms. I have several years of experience providing mental health therapy to individuals who have experienced challenges that have interfered with their functionality and well-being.
I have a passion for providing individuals a safe place to heal and develop the tools they need to create and live a quality life. I have several years of experience providing service ranging from severely mentally ill individuals to those in need of emotional support in all degrees. I have experience providing individual and family therapy, advocacy, and support for adolescents and adults who experience a variety of mental illness. I have firsthand experience in biculturalism and dual identity issues; family enmeshment, women’s lack of autonomy, and more. My experience has allowed me to work with youth, families, and adults within outpatient, inpatient, custody and residential settings. My goal is to help others find peace and to reach their full potential.
