MA, ASW
I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families, with a particular passion for supporting adolescents as they navigate anxiety, depression, self-image concerns, and life transitions.
My experience working in a middle school setting has given me the opportunity to support students facing a wide range of emotional and social challenges. I have seen how important it is for young people to have a safe, supportive space where they can talk openly, feel understood, and develop the tools they need to navigate the pressures of growing up.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in the belief that each person has the capacity for growth and change. I focus on building strong, trusting relationships with my clients so they feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions at their own pace. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness to help clients build practical coping skills, increase emotional awareness, and strengthen their sense of confidence and agency.
I also enjoy working with parents and families to strengthen communication and support their child's well-being. I strive to create a consistent and compassionate therapeutic environment where clients feel respected, supported, and challenged as they grow. My goal is to help individuals and families build resilience, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and meaningful.
