Samantha (Alexandra) Mach
PhD, MA, AMFT, APCC, ATR-P
I work with teens, adults, and older adults, supporting clients with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, and life transitions, and I integrate art therapy, CBT, DBT, and ACT into my approach.
My clinical experience includes helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and trauma. I have supported diverse populations, including transgender and Native American clients, and I value cultural humility, creativity, and collaboration in the therapy process. My approach integrates ACT, CBT, DBT, person-centered, and art therapy, with additional training in equine-assisted therapy and expressive arts interventions. I hold an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Art Therapy and a PhD in Art Therapy.
My professional experience includes work in medical and behavioral health hospitals, residential treatment for eating disorders, school-based therapy, and community mental health. Alongside my clinical work, I bring a lifelong background in the arts and a deep belief in the healing power of creativity.
